Joe L. Fellows

Byron, GA-Joe Lewis Fellows, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Craig Holmes and Pastor Justin Teate will officiate. Mr. Fellows will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens following the service. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Fellows was born in Cadwell, Georgia, on March 25, 1936. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He had a long, successful career at Georgia Power Company from which he was retired. He was a faithful and devoted member of Gilead Baptist Church in Macon. He was a faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed. Mr. Fellows is preceded in death by eleven of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Glenda Fellows, Byron; three children, Glen (Linda) Fellows, Florida; Cindy (Kevin) Lucas, Georgia; Sherry Jo (Jeff) Shaddix, Washington; sister Bobbie Dennis, South Carolina; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
