Mattie Mae Keller Kincaid

Mattie Mae Keller Kincaid, 98, of Warner Robins, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026 at The Oaks at Marshallville after a brief period of declining health.

Mae was born in Granite Falls, NC to Edward and Carrie Clay Keller. She met the love of her life at the age of 18 when her brother Jack brought a fellow Navy shipmate home on leave during WWII. Mae and Dr. James Kincaid had been married for 67 years at the time of his passing in 2013.

Mae was a loving sister to her brother Jack Keller and two sisters, Violet K. Marshall and Inez K. Elmore, all of whom preceded her in death. Mae was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim, as well as two sons, Ronald B. Kincaid and Jeffrey Alan Kincaid, her daughter-in-law Johnnie Faye Kincaid, and her granddaughter, Shona K. Yates.

She is survived by nieces and a nephew as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom held her in high regard as the matriarch of the family.

Mae was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, GA. The family wishes to thank the clergy for their visits and ministry to Mae over the last few years when she could not physically attend services.

A private family graveside service will be held in Warner Robins as well as a memorial service for family in North Carolina, where her younger son, Jeffrey, is interred.
