Susan Jane Nemeth

Susan Jane Foster Nemeth passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, June 19, 2026 at the age of 62. At the family's request, all services will be private.

Jane was born January 12, 1964 in Glen Cove, New York and was a proud graduate of North Shore High School in Long Island, New York. With a heart full of warmth and culinary passion, she graced the world with her presence. She pursued her love for cooking at the esteemed Culinary Institute of America. Her kitchen was not just a place of nourishment but a sanctuary of love and creativity.

Her devotion extended beyond her culinary talents; she was a beloved grandmother whose affection knew no bounds. As a devoted daughter, she tenderly cared for her parents, her late father, Ray Foster, and her loving mother, Shirley Foster. Her familial bonds were further enriched by her sisters, Peggy (Brian) Mills and Laura Ecklund, who, along with nieces and nephews, Patrick, Ryan, Matthew, and Katherine will cherish her memory.

She leaves behind her cherished daughter, Larissa (Roger) Da Silva, and 4 beloved grandchildren: Isaac, Michael, Davi, and Silas, each a testament of her enduring legacy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Nemeth.

In honoring her life, contributions may be made to Breakthrough T1D, a cause she valued deeply. Her spirit, characterized by generosity and grace, remains an inspiration to all who knew her.
