Valarie "Denise" Wright
Dec 21, 1967 — Apr 21, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Valarie Denise Wright, who left this world on April 21, 2026, in Byron, Georgia, at the age of 58. A memorial gathering to honor Denise's life will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory.
Born on December 21, 1967, in Macon, Georgia, Denise brought joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Denise was a dedicated tax specialist at H&R Block, where she provided guidance and support to countless clients. Her professional life was marked by a strong commitment to help others navigate their financial paths. However, it was not just her career that defined her; Denise’s true legacy lies in the rich tapestry of love she wove with her family and friends.
As a devoted mother to her son, Matthew Wright, and cherished Granny to her grandsons, Colton and Cooper, Denise’s heart was always full. Denise also leaves behind a brother, Donal Tribble and a host of extended family and friends. Her lively spirit and infectious laughter could brighten the darkest days. She found immense joy in her grandchildren and took every opportunity to create unforgettable memories with them.
Denise’s love for playing Canasta was legendary, often gathering friends and family around the table for spirited games filled with laughter and friendly competition. Denise had a deep appreciation for the beach, where she found peace and solace in the waves lapping at her feet. She embraced life with kindness and humor, traits that will be long remembered. Denise's generous nature and ability to see the bright side even in challenging times were an inspiration to all who crossed her path.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations towards her funeral services, which will help provide a heartfelt farewell to a remarkable woman whose spirit will live on in those she loved. Her memory will be cherished, and her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
