Dennis A. Champagne, 69, of Summerfield, FL, passed on 06/20/2026, after a 4mo fight with Esophageal Cancer.

He was born in Vermont and moved to Florida when he was 6yrs old.

Dennis served in the U.S. Army and was Honorably Discharged.

He drove for long-haul commercial carriers, for 35yrs, until Feb 24, 2026, when his cancer was discovered and had to leave the road behind him.

He had his own business, Champagne's Floor & Wall Coverings.

He is survived by his wife, Terry, 4 Daughters and 1 Son; Michele (Simeon) Florez, Jessica (Matthew) Estep, Jennifer Hyde, Aimee (Puali) Filo, and Nicholas (Michelle) Moreno; 3 Brothers, David (Debbie), Robert (Lise) and Michael (Becky); and 15 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, and Nieces & Nephews.

He was preceded into Heaven by his parents; George and Marlene Champagne; his sister, Patty; and his Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles.

Heirs & Baxley Funeral Home, in The Villages, FL are handling all his arrangements.
