George Raynor Bain

August 6, 1985 — November 19, 2025

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? - John 11:25-26

George "G" Raynor Bain, born on August 6, 1985, in the vibrant town of Macon, Georgia, left us on November 19, 2025, but not without leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was a man of many passions, always with grease on his hands, a joker with a penchant for pranks, but above all, a devoted husband, generous friend, and confidant.

Educated at North Marion High School and the College of Central Florida, George's thirst for knowledge was only rivaled by his thirst for adventure. He spent his career in the automotive industry, notably at Pearson Nissan of Ocala, where he earned the highly coveted title of Nissan Certified Master Technician. His technical prowess was complemented by his re-certification as an ASE Master Automobile Technician, proving that he was not only a handyman with a wrench but a wizard with engines. George and his wife, Tara also started and ran their own trailer rental business, GT Trailer Rentals in Ocala since February 2023.

But George wasn't all work and no play. His laughter echoed through his home and beyond, bouncing off the walls like the strum of a well-played guitar. He had an infectious spirit filled with kindness, loyalty, and a hilarious sense of humor that could lighten the heaviest of moods. He loved to entertain with his clever jokes, always ready with a witticism or a prank, proving that laughter was his second language.

Among his myriad of interests, George reveled in restoring classic cars, boating, fishing, and camping, turning the great outdoors into his playground. Whether he was surfing the waves or skateboarding down the street, George's energy was boundless. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was jamming out with his guitar, playing with his bandmates in Gettendeep, working on a project and watching music video in his beloved shop, or sharing a laugh with family and friends.

He was an extraordinary husband to Tara D. Bain, who was the love of his life, and a cherished son to Lola and JD Bain. He held his in-laws, Tammy and Richard Hulsey, close to his heart. His playful spirit and loving nature particularly shone in his bond with his big brother, D. Ralph Mozingo, who he often recalled with fondness. Likewise, his loyal canine companions, Jackie Blue and Jack Jack, were always at his side on adventures, earning their places in his stories and in his heart.  I am sure they were right there with him when he came home.

George's homecoming leaves a void that is impossible to fill yet filled with the memories of laughter and love. His celebration of life will be held at Central Christian Church, 3010 NE 14th St, Ocala, FL 34470, where family and friends will gather to celebrate a life well-lived.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor George's memory may contribute to causes that reflected his compassion, including Marion County Animal Services and Tunnel to Towers, both organizations he supported wholeheartedly, proving his continued dedication to community and kindness. As we reminisce about George, let's remember him for his robust laughter, generous spirit, and the unforgettable footprints he's left behind. His legacy will continue to inspire kindness, humor, and a sense of adventure in all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
