Nancy Marilyn Scallatino

Nancy Marilyn Scallatino, 73, peacefully passed away on Friday, June 9th in Ocala, Florida with her son by her side holding her hand. 

Nancy was born in Woodbury, New Jersey to Walter F. Overs and Marilyn M. Campbell Overs on February 4, 1952. She attended Gateway Regional High School. She was married to John J. Scallatino on February 14th, 1970, in New Jersey. She studied cosmetology, was a Bakery & Deli Manager, and a homemaker.  

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband John, Brothers David Barker, Bruce Overs, Mark Overs, and daughter Wendy Turner. 

Nancy is survived by her son Michael J. Scallatino, daughter-in-law Barbi Scallatino, her daughter Nicole S. Methvin, son-in-law Joseph Methvin, her sister Susan Bennett (Overs), brother in law Jospeh Mark Bennett,  Sisters in law Evelyn Barker, Charlet Overs, Mary Overs, Angelina Scallatino Cook, Joan Scallatino, Teresa Scallatino and brother in law Frank Scallatino, and her grandchildren that gave her absolute joy Jennifer M. Abner, Brianna E. Scallatino, and John M. Scallatino. She leaves behind her beloved fur babies Riley, Casper and Angel will greet her across the rainbow bridge. She will be missed by many nieces & nephews.  Her laughter and zany personality leaves a lasting impression along with her sense of humor that made everyone laugh.  The beach was her favorite place to find solace and peace. She had an artistic flare for fashion and loved wearing her many hats. She enjoyed spending time with her family and having a cheers with a mimosa.    

No funeral services at this time. A celebration of life is planned for the Fall.
