Sandra Jayne Daniels

Sandra Jayne Daniels passed away in Ocala FL on February 18, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. She was 80 years old. Sandra was born in Heilwood, Pennsylvania to the late Gerald and Margaret (Altemus) Croyle on May 7, 1943. Her family relocated to West Virginia during her teen years and there she met her husband, Larry. They relocated their family to the Ocala FL area in 1984. Sandra retired from Winn-Dixie in 2020 after more than thirty years’ service, including time spent as head cashier and pricing manager. She loved her family and was able to be home with her children in their earlier years. She also was able to spend a great deal of her time later in life with her granddaughter, Madyson. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Sr, as well as her parents and seven siblings. She is survived by three children, Larry Jr (Dee), Kenneth (Seleitha) and Jennifer Bennett (Gary), seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 27 from 10-11am, followed by a funeral services at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala FL, 34470, and the burial will be at Ocklawaha Community Cemetery.
