Charles Howard

Charles J. Howard, 71, passed away on June 24,2026, in Inverness, Florida.

He was born to Joseph Howard and Caroline Miller on July 18, 1954 in Attleboro, MA. He respectably served as a veteran in Vietnam from 1973 to 1977 as a SP4 officer. After leaving the service, he dedicated his career to environmental public service before retiring.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and wife. Charles is survived by 4 children; Catherine (Tony) Pritzl, Joanna Palazzolo, Diana (Kyle) Bussen, and Joseph (Lori) Palazzolo. Sister, Dorothy Chamberlin, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

His memorial service will be held on July 10, 2026 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home located at 3975 Wedgewood Ln. The Villages, FL from 9am-11am. Immediately following the memorial service we will be proceeding to Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell for his final resting where he will be joined with his beloved wife.
