Patricia Glatman

Patricia Glatman, 76, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, at The Villages Rehab Center after courageously fighting a series of health challenges.

Patricia Glatman was born in Queens, NY to Harry and Elvie Hoaglund on January 19, 1949.Patricia and Alan Glatman eloped to Hawaii and married on July 31, 1980. They were happily married for 45 years. She was a teacher at Dawnwood Middle School and also received her Master’s Degree. Often they could be found at Amigos Sports Club meetings, at daily water-volleyball outings, on Amigos' cruises and at parties. Patricia enjoyed cooking, going tothe beach, Scrabble, and all types of travel. Most of all, she loved her family and friends unconditionally. Her home was always open, regardless of the situation- right or wrong. She was just a beautiful lady inside and out.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Alan; their daughter, Dana Glatman, and their son, Jeffrey Glatman.

Although it has broken our hearts and we have to say goodbye to Patricia. She is no longer suffering, and is at peace. She is with her parents, brother Richard, son Eric, grandson Axel, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held later this month on Friday, June 27th starting at 1:00pm. The Celebration will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, which is located at 3975 Wedgewood Lane in The Villages.
