Randall Arnett

Randall “Randy” Arnett, 68, of Oxford, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026.Born in Salyersville, Kentucky, Randy was the son of Clyde Arnett and Ann Roller. He later moved to Florida, where he graduated from Lake Weir High School in Ocala. On March 3, 1978, he married the love of his life, Debbie, in Ocala, beginning a marriage that spanned more than 48 years and was built on love, commitment, and family. 

Randy dedicated more than 42 years of his professional life to the mining industry, serving as a Senior Vice President of Mining Sales. He was known not only for his knowledge and work ethic but also for the genuine relationships he built throughout his career. He believed in treating people with honesty, respect, and kindness, earning the admiration of colleagues and friends alike. 

Outside of work, Randy found joy on the golf course, at the horse races, and, above all, in spending time with his family. He had a generous heart and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His willingness to help others, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Arnett and Ann Roller, and his brother, Grover Arnett. 

He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Debbie Arnett; his children, Christie (Michael), Chase (Amanda), Ryan (Jessica), and Taylor (CJ); and his cherished grandchildren, Marley, Fischer, Harper Grace, Eloise, John Parson, Birdie, Ford, Katie, Sebastian, Jackson, Cameron, Christian, Isabella, Macie, Wells, Millie Kate and his brother, Hank Arnett. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and colleagues who will deeply miss his presence. 

A funeral service celebrating Randy’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, Florida 32162, with Mr. Joe Cogdell officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. 

Randy’s legacy is one of hard work, generosity, integrity, and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
