Mr. James Aries "Jim" Anderson, age 87, of Auburndale, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, in Winter Haven due to heart failure. Mr. Anderson was born in Broxton, GA, and had lived in Auburndale area for the past 60 years. He was an army veteran and had retired as a truck driver for Gray Trucking, as well as Batesville Casket Co. He was also a retired associate with Kersey Funeral Home. Jim was a member of Life & Praise Church in Auburndale and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Twyla, in 2013. Surviving are his 2 sons, Bobby Anderson of Lake Alfred, and Tony Anderson of Auburndale, 2 daughters, Pat Grandinetti of Raleigh, NC, and Penny Lynette of Auburndale, a brother Roy Anderson of Valdosta, GA, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
