Robert Vernon Williams

Robert Vernon Williams, 88, of Auburndale, Florida, passed away on May 19, 2026. Born on May 6, 1938, in Auburndale, Robert was a lifelong resident of the community he proudly called home.

Robert was known throughout the area as a hardworking businessman and devoted family man. He owned and operated Quality Roofing for nearly five decades, serving the community from 1964 until his retirement in 2011. Through years of honest work and dedication, he built not only a respected business, but lasting relationships with many families across Central Florida.

Outside of work, Robert enjoyed the simple things in life most — hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with those he loved. He was a gentle soul who cared deeply for his family and was always willing to help anyone in need. A devout follower of Christ, his faith guided the way he lived his life and the way he treated others.

Robert also had a special love for animals, especially his devoted dog, Rosie, who was a constant companion by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife, Faye Williams; his children, Danny & Debra Fussell and Jerome Williams; and his grandchildren, Natasha Fussell and Ashley Williams.

Robert will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy will continue through the many lives he touched over the years.

Robert’s memorial service is being held June 6th, at 11:00AM. It will be at New Hope Fellowship Central Florida, 307 Deen Blvd, Auburndale, Fl 33823.
