Sheri Denise Bailey

Ms. Sheri Denise Bailey, age 62, a resident of Marianna, Florida, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Jackson Hospital surrounded by family. Ms. Bailey was born May 8, 1963, in Winter Haven, Florida to John Clinton and Doris Lanell (Plant) Bailey. She was a lifetime Polk County resident and attended Auburndale High School.  She was an Answering Service Telephone Operator and attended Central Assembly of God Church in Auburndale. Sheri enjoyed playing softball, volleyball and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father; brother – Darryl Clinton Bailey; paternal & maternal grandparents. Sheri is survived by her loving family, 2 sons – Devin Bailey of Panama City, Florida & Deric Bailey of Bonifay, Florida; parents – James & Doris Stewart of Lakeland, Florida; nephew – Dustin (Jordan) Bailey of Lakeland, Florida; 6 grandchildren – Hunter, Lily, Brantley, Audrey, Kayden & Deagon. A celebration of Sheri’s life will be held 4pm Monday, June 30th at Kersey Funeral Home.
