Carol Zatz

Carol Zatz, age 90, of Las Vegas passed quietly at her home on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Carol was born February 13, 1925 in Chicago, IL. She is the daughter of the late Sigmund and the late Belle (Cooperman) Cohen. Carol married the love of her life Marvin Zatz in Chicago on June 1st, 1951. She honorably served in the Woman's Branch of the U.S. Coast Guard "SPAR" in 1945, she was employed as a secretary for an auto dealer. When Carol retired she worked as convention security for SOA. She is survived by her children Rhonda Becker (Gary), Fern Voinovich (Dan), Linda Jennings and Laura Stoner (Dennis); grandchildren Jeffery Becker (Heather), Sharon Boss, Andrew Becker, Steven Stoner (Melissa), Amy Becker, Jeremy Stoner (Brianna) and Keith Stoner; along with her great grandchildren Ruby, Brady, Skylar and Olvia; and her sister Trudi Corber. She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin Zatz and parents Sigmund and Belle Cohen. Burial will held at 10:15 am on Tuesday August 4th 2015 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
