September 5, 1916 — June 7, 2010
Judith Brown, age 93, of Las Vegas, and formerly of Queens NY, died Monday, June 7, 2010. Judith was born September 5, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Martin and the late Bertha (Graber) Duitz.
Judith was a homemaker whose life revolved around her family and, in addition to her own children, assisted in raising her grandson, Philip, for many years. She was very active as a volunteer with Temple Beth Israel's sisterhood in St. Albans NY and served a term as President. Judith was adored by everyone she met and loved by everyone close to her. She was the bond who continually brought her loved ones together.
Judith is survived by one daughter: Marilyn (Mark) Marenicki of Las Vegas NV; three sons: Jack (Susan) Brown of Naples FL, Leonard (Arlene) Brown of Naples FL, and Michael Brown of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren: Richard (Shari) Kleinman, Craig (Jennifer) Brown, Michell (Leslie) Brown, Marshal (Jessica) Brown, Danielle (Darrin) Stern, Diana (Jamie) Mayer and Philip Weiner and seven great-grand children: Seth Kleinman, Shanya Brown, Justin Brown, Ruth Brown, Livia Stern, Benjamin Mayer, Zachary Mayer. Judith was predeceased by her husband, Philip Brown.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 11at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont NY.
