Patrick John Cassedy

Patrick "Pat" J. Cassedy, 75, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015. He was at his summer home in Mormon Lake, Arizona where he was also born. Pat was a long time resident of the township Whitney, NV. He graduated in 1957 from Basic High School in Henderson, NV. He was chairman of the East Las Vegas Town Board for many years. He was self-employed for the majority of his adult life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Nina Cassedy; and granddaughter, Desirae Cassedy. He is survived by his wife, Joannie; son, Russ (Pam) Cassedy; daughters, Erin Lovitt; Robin (Albert) Ross; Kimberly Cassedy and 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, with Services at 10:30 a.m. both at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Home, 3975 So. Durango Drive Suite 104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. Burial following at 1 p.m. at Palm Mortuary, 800 So. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
