Philip "Feivel Ben David" Meisel

Philip Meisel, age 87, of Las Vegas, died Monday, April 13, 2015. Philip was born February 25, 1928 in Amsterdam NY to the late David and the late Bessie (Shmukler) Meisel Philip was a graduate of Union College, earned a PhD in Statistics from Syracuse University and worked for 55 years as a chemical industry entrepreneur and in banking. Philip was a generous philanthropist, supporting causes locally, nationally and globally. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Blanche Meisel; children Myron (Carol Bahoric) Meisel, Dr. Lee (Dr. Deborah) Meisel, Robert (Joanna) Meisel and Neil (Constance) Meisel; 10 grandchildren, and brother Seymour (Jacqueline) Meisel. A funeral will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 5808 W. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach, FL, followed by interment. Burial will follow at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach.
