Phyllis Bernice Boeder

Phyllis Bernice Boeder, age 92, died Friday, June 4, 2010 at home her home in Las Vegas. Phyllis was born January 19, 1918 in Brainerd, MN. She is the daughter of the late Seymour and the late Blanche (Myers) Clark, Jr. Phyllis attended High School in Brainerd and worked for the John Levis Drug Store. She then worked for a large department store as the Ready To Wear Buyer then as the Assistant Manager. During World War II she served as a volunteer for the Red Cross in Fergus Falls MN and then a Pink Lady in Nampa ID. She married Melton Arthur Paul Boeder on February 11, 1940. They owned the Brite Spot in Fergus Falls MN, then the Maple Leaf Grill in Brainerd, followed by the Ables in Nisswa MN, Toot and Tell Drive-In in Nampa ID and the President Lounge in Caldwell ID. She is survived by two sons: Jerome Paul Boeder of Las Vegas, NV, Jess (Caryl) Seymour Boeder of Eagle ID; and her grandson, Schafer Boeder of Norfolk VA. Visitation will be at 2PM on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Drive, #104 in Las Vegas, NV and at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 11, 2010 at the Halvorson Johnson Funeral Home, 703 Oak Street, Brainerd, MN, with the funeral immediately following at 2:00. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd MN. . .
