Rafael Rodriguez Santini

Rafael Rodriguez Santini, age 91, of Las Vegas, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. Rafael was born September 17, 1923 in Guaymas, Mexico to the late Rafael Rodriguez Cardenaz and the late Maria Dolores Santini. He worked as a physician and as a chemical engineer, and moved to Augusta Georgia to open NutraSweet. Rafael is survived by his wife, Emma Samson-Santini; son, Rafael Rodriguez (Martha) Roel; daughter, Guadalupe Rodriguez Roel; daughter, Delores Lori Roach; son, Rafael Rodriguez (Maria Ilich) Santini; daughter, Martha Santini Brazil; stepdaughter, Carmina Babylane Serapio; stepson, Jose Rodelio (Ellen) Serapio; and stepson, Michael Marceliano (Vanessa Leanne-Marie Kalagian) Serapio. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jesus Rafael Roel, Guillermo Alejandro Roel, Priscilla Christine Roel, Alexander F. Roel, Annamaria E. Bower, Dustin James Demakas, Andrea Martha Santini, Antonio Rafael Santini, Michael Vincent Santini, Christopher Daniel Santini, Stevie Brazil and Julia Brazil; step-grandchilren Katrina Yulo (Rico) Garcia, Francis Christopher (Nina Erika) Santos and Franco Christian Santos; great-grandchildren Jazzlyn Roel, Anika Maxine Garcia, Martina Alexa Garcia, Lucas Gabriel Garcia, and Olivia Ayessa Santos He is predeceased by his son, Guillermo Rodriguez Roel; stepson, Arnel Antonio Serapio; and stepdaughter, Arminda Bernadette Serapio-Olsen. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, with a funeral service starting at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2015, both at Christ The King Catholic Community, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive, Las Vegas, NV.
