Rita "Rachel" Goldstein

Rita Goldstein, age 82, a 19 year resident of Las Vegas and Henderson, died May 3, 2012. Rita was born November 22, 1929 in Los Angeles CA to the late Adolph and the late Bessie (Rockowitz) Kishner. Rita married her high school sweetheart, Ruben Goldstein, in 1947. She was a wonderful mother whose house was always open to family and friends. In addition to entertaining, Rita loved to read, bowl, needlepoint and travel. She also enjoyed playing pan and mah jong. Rita served as Treasurer of the Board of Congregation Ner Tamid and worked as office manager of her son's medical practice. She is survived by her husband Ruben Goldstein; children Robert (Judith) Goldstein of Las Vegas; Michael (Pamela) Goldstein of Bell Canyon CA and Larry (Hannah) Goldstein of Mclean VA; grandchildren Jared (Nicki) Goldstein, Zachary Goldstein, Sam Goldstein, Bryan Goldstein, Michelle Goldstein, Joseph Goldstein, Jacob Goldstein, Danielle Goldstein and John Goldstein and sister Anita Singer of Los Angeles CA. She was predeceased by her sisters May Fine and Dottie Holtzman. The funeral service will be held at 1:20 PM on Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd. in Boulder City, NV.
