Shirley Gail Sparks

Ms. Shirley Gail Sparks, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the age of 66. Gail was born on October 11, 1953 in Trinidad, CO. She grew up with one older sister, Peggy Meyer, and 2 younger brothers Douglas and Mike Sparks. She attended Chula Vista High School in Chula Vista, CA. In April of 1975, she gave birth to her daughter Shawna Sparks and in April of 1976, she gave birth to her son Todd Sparks. Shirley attended cosmetology school in Utah and graduated in 1982. She was a devoted cosmetologist for many years. Shirley enjoyed doing many crafts and to take care of the children throughout her life. Gail is preceded in death by parents D.D. Sparks (2006), Theresa Sparks (1996), Jean Stumph (2013), and Paul Stumph (2018); and her brother in law Chuck Meyer. She is survived by her daughter Shawna Sparks (Larry Beasley); her son Todd Sparks; her sister Peggy Meyer; her brothers Doug (Bev) Sparks & Mike (Marlys) Sparks; her grandchildren Fisher Patrick and Hanna Sparks; 4 great grandchildren; 10 nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. Gail had requested no services. Her family will get together in Colorado at a later date as a time of remembrance. Our family is very grateful for the condolences.
