Ramon Rodriguez Reyna
September 5, 1943 — February 7, 2026
Ramon Rodriguez Reyna passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2026, in Ontario, Oregon, surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He was born on September 5th, 1943, in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico, and lived a life marked by deep faith, devotion to family, and an unwavering work ethic. He was deeply proud of his Mexican heritage and carried the traditions, values, and culture of his homeland with him throughout his life, passing them on with love and intention to his children and grandchildren.
From humble beginnings in Zacatecas, Ramon built a life rooted in perseverance and integrity. He began his working years as a migrant farm worker. He later transitioned into retail work and ultimately retired from Bi-Mart after many years of loyal service. His work ethic was a defining part of his character, steady, reliable, and always carried out with pride.
Ramon’s Catholic faith was central to his life. A devout parishioner, he served as a Knight of Columbus, a lector and Eucharistic Minister. He generously volunteered his time at the local food bank. His devotion was evident not only in his faithful attendance but also in the way he lived his beliefs through kindness, service, and humility. Ramon found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved reading, music, watching movies and all things Hollywood. He was a passionate supporter of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ramon followed the team faithfully throughout his life.
Ramon was surrounded by a large and loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Blanca Rodriguez; his children, Ramon Jr. (wife Julia) and Perla; his grandchildren, Tristan (wife Corina), Joel, Julian, Jerry, Nico, and Xochitl (wife Ailyn); and his great-granddaughter, Belén. He is also survived by his brothers, George Rodriguez (wife Lupe) and Raymundo Rodriguez (wife Delia); sisters, Concepción Flores (deceased husband Manuel) and Aurora Banda (husband Juan); his half-brother, Ernesto; and half-sisters, Eva, Norma, Elsa, and Mela as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Feliciano Rodriguez; his mother, María del Refugio Reyna; his sisters, María “Cuqui,” Celia, and Micaela; and his brothers, Feliciano “Chano” and Arturo.
A Funeral Mass will be held on February 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 829 SW 2nd Avenue.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to inspire acts of faith and service in others.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff of DaVita Dialysis Center for their care, as well as to his primary care provider, Anne Ingram, PA-C, and the compassionate staff of Heart n’ Home.
