WEISNER, Amy M., 87, of Lutz, Florida passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015.
She was born in China Grove, North Carolina and worked and retired in the Tampa Bay area. She retired after 37 years of service from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Amy was a member of First Baptist Church of Land O’ Lakes and served on the board of directors for Bill Rice Ranch.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Clifton Weisner. Amy is survived by her sons, Albert and John Timothy Gardner; daughters, Sharon Smith and husband, Kurt, and Gayle Smith and husband, Allen; grandchildren, Sherri Spaw and husband, Andrew, Chad Canady and wife, Brooke, Katie Smith, and AJ Smith; and great-grandchildren, Victoria, Joshua, Jacob, Caleb, Hailey, Kiely, Logan, Isabella, and Mikaela.
A funeral service will take place at 7 pm on Thursday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at 10:30 am on Friday at Florida National Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Amy’s memory to First Baptist Church of Land O Lakes.
Special gratitude is extended to the staff at Northwood Manor Assisted Living where they treated Amy like family and a special thank you to the Gulfside Hospice and Pasco Palliative Care.
