Arthur Eugene (“Art”) Williams, 83, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on May 23, 2026.

Born on December 11, 1942, in Tampa, Florida, Art lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his community, and his country. During his youth, his family lived in Hialeah, Florida, before relocating back to Tampa during his high school years. He remained deeply connected to the Tampa area throughout his life and was known for his strong character, steady presence, and genuine kindness.

Art graduated from Hillsborough High School and went on to earn his degree from the University of South Florida. He spent many years serving the community through his career in the banking industry, where he built lasting relationships and earned the respect of colleagues and customers alike. He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, demonstrating a commitment to service that remained a defining part of his life.

Above all, Art cherished his family. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones, following sports, and creating memories with those closest to him. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or gathering with family, he found his greatest happiness in the company of those he loved. His warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Art is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Cynthia Williams; his children, Tania Frost D'Agostino and Brian Williams; his grandchildren, Justin Frost, Bradley D'Agostino, Brianna D'Agostino, Julia Williams, and Benjamin Williams; and his great-grandson, Rory Frost. He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Mofford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Benjamin Williams and Marion Williams.

Art's legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the many lives he touched throughout his years. He will be remembered with love, gratitude, and respect by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O' Lakes Boulevard, Land O' Lakes, Florida 34639.

A funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Following the service, Art will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610. The burial service will begin at 2:30 p.m.
