Beth Cloutier Baker, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, in Lutz, Florida.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Loyless Funeral Home at 5310 Land O’ Lakes Blvd., Land O’Lakes, FL 34639 with Pastor David Fell officiating. Family visitation will be available at 4:30 p.m.
Beth was born on August 20, 1962, in Hialeah, FL. Beth’s warm presence and caring nature left an undeniable mark on all who knew her. Beth dedicated the last several years of her life caring for and teaching students at Lake Myrtle Elementary School and at KnowledgePoints Tutoring. Her ability to provide comfort and love made her an exceptional teacher, a role she embraced wholeheartedly. Beth had a love of Broadway Musicals and enjoyed using her talent for preparing culinary delights for friends and family. Beth’s love for her family was unparalleled, and she often expressed this through the time she spent with them, the care she provided, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.
Beth’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her laughter, her love of life, and her ability to make everyone feel cherished will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
Beth is survived by her beloved husband Wayne of Lutz, FL, cherished sons, Hayden Baker of New York City, NY and Jake Baker of Lutz, FL. Each of her sons were her pride and joy, her guiding light, and her most treasured accomplishments. She leaves behind her devoted father, John Cloutier, and his life partner, Josemarie Garland. Beth’s memory will be forever honored by her loving sisters, Colette Hornbeck and nephew, John Hornbeck; Jeanette Hall, husband, Frank Hall, niece, Celeste Modlin and her daughters Elizabeth and Haylee, and nephew David Modlin; and Christine Reed and niece, Dean Reed.
Beth was proceeded in death by her treasured mother, Lydia Swearingen Cloutier.
Beth Baker’s life was filled with love, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to those around her. Her warmth and generosity clearly touched many lives, and the legacy she leaves behind is one of compassion and devotion. It’s evident that she had a profound impact on her family, students, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
