In Loving Memory of Carleen McVeigh
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carleen McVeigh, who passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 79. Born in Wadsworth, Ohio, Carleen later made her home in Land O' Lakes, Florida.
Carleen was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of many. A true family woman, her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved. Her kindness, strength, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Carleen was preceded in death by her brother, Ed, who passed away last year.
She leaves behind her loving brother, Ted; her two sons, Russ and Rob; her cherished grandchildren, David and Maryah; and her beautiful great-granddaughter, Madilynn, who brought immense joy to her life.
Carleen dedicated many years of service to her community. She worked at Kmart for many years before beginning a second career as a bus driver, from which she eventually retired. She was known for her strong work ethic, friendly smile, and willingness to help others.
Committal Services will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 11am at Daytona Memorial Park 1425 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.
Those who knew Carleen will remember her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the countless memories she created with friends and loved ones. While her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
