DOLAK, ELEANOR MARIE, 86, of Tampa, formerly of Land O'Lakes, died Wednesday (July 19, 2006) at home surrounded by family. Born in Dickson City, Pa. in 1920, she was the daughter of Polish immigrants, Jan and Stephania Bielawski. She and her husband moved to Land O'Lakes in 1988 from Dunmore, Pa. Eleanor was a seamstress at Dickson City Garment Factory for 32 years. She was crowned Polka Queen at the Polish club in her hometown of Scranton, Pa. She was a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU). Eleanor loved to cook for friends and family. A devout Catholic, Eleanor was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Albert Dolak. Survivors include a son, Richard T. Sickora, Land O'Lakes; four grandchildren, Richard T. Sickora II and Tara Sickora, Land O'Lakes, William Sickora, Manhattan and Shannon Breen, Tampa; and a great-grandson, Richard "Richie" III A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
