EVANS, Freddie L, 91, of Land O’ Lakes, went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 17, 2013. Freddie was born in Irwin County, Georgia and spent most of his adult life in New York. He was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran and a retired Letter Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. Freddie was also a member of the Seniors Bowling Club, in New York. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy and a son, Ronnie. Freddie is survived by his loving wife, Maude; son, Derek; stepsons, Richard, John, and Rafael “Ray”; many grandchildren and great grandchildren including granddaughter Qiane Dolvin; step great granddaughter, “Papa’s Princess”, Jordan Lakins and his faithful companion “Max”. A Memorial Service will be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park in New York, with interment to follow.
