Judith Elaine Dechant

DECHANT, Judith Elaine, “Judy”, 55, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and moved to the Tampa Bay Area in 1996. Judy enjoyed weekends on the beach watching the sunset, listening to The JOY FM, and spending time with her family and friends. She owned and operated an interior decorating company, Mar-Go Interiors, and served homes in the Tampa area for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by her two sons, Collin and Matthew; and her mother, Marilyn Fay. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Tom; son Jake Dechant of Tampa, FL; daughter, Kelsey Russell and son-in-law, John Russell of Durham, NC; father, Gerald Milton, of Spring Hill, TN; and three siblings Robby Milton, Tim Milton, and Constance Dias. A memorial service will be held at a later date. As a tribute to Judy, the family is encouraging loved ones to celebrate her life with a personal act of remembrance at 7:56pm EDT (sunset in Tampa) on Thursday, April 16th, 2020.
