Marcia Regina Burgess

Marcia Regina Eaves Burgess, 75, went to be with her heavenly father on June 16, 2026 after a valiant fight with cancer. Marcia was a devoted member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church where she served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and was a charter member of the Msg. Kevin S. Mullins Columbiettes. Marcia is survived by her beloved husband Frank Burgess, her sister Sheila Kinser, and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Larry R Eaves and Annie Mildred Eaves. She enjoyed the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Buccaneers. Those who knew Marcia found her to be a kind and gentle soul. She was a lover of all animals great and small especially her German Shepards. She was involved with several dog rescues and often fostered German Shepards. A Memorial Mass will be held on July 8, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church 9724 Cross Creek Blvd., Tampa Florica 33647. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to either Unleash the Love Dog Rescue or Heidi’s Legacy Dog Rescue.
