Myriam Ramos
August 28, 1949 — June 6, 2026
Myriam Ramos, 76, of Land O' Lakes, Florida, passed away on June 6, 2026. Born on August 28, 1949, in the Panama Canal Zone, Myriam lived a vibrant and purposeful life that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Myriam dedicated her career to caring for others, serving as a registered nurse with compassion and professionalism. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her profession and into every corner of her life, most especially into her role as a devoted mother and loving wife. She and her husband, Javier, shared nearly twenty years of marriage, building a life together filled with warmth, laughter, and steadfast partnership. Her son, Alex, was the pride of her heart, and the depth of her love for him was evident to all who knew her.
Myriam was, in every sense, the life of the party. She had an infectious energy that could light up any room, a sharp sense of style that ensured she was always impeccably dressed, and a well-known appreciation for a perfectly crafted margarita made with nothing less than top shelf tequila. She was generous, loving, and unforgettable.
She was preceded in death by her father, Felix Ortiz, and her mother, Gregoria Ortiz. She is survived by her beloved husband, Javier Ramos; her cherished son, Alex Robles; her brothers, Ramon Ortiz and Carlos Ortiz; her sisters-in-law, Maria Berrios and Esther Ortiz; her nieces and nephews, Juan Carlos Ortiz, David Ortiz, Melissa Ortiz, Stephanie Ortiz Appel, and Karla Ortiz.
May she rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord she faithfully served.
A Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 2348 Collier Parkway, Land O' Lakes, FL 34639, on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 10:30 AM, followed by a reception. All who loved Myriam are welcome to gather in her memory.
