Richard A. Franconeri, Sr. lived his life being grateful, thankful, and generous.  He loved deeply and always wanted to lend a helping hand and some advice. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, friend, neighbor and confidant who will be deeply missed by so many. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his daughter Stephanie and her husband David; and his grandchildren, Elena and Branden Levoyer.

Rich’s love for his family was evident in every action and every decision he made. His grandchildren, Elena and Branden, were the apples of his eye, and he took immense joy in their every accomplishment.

Rich was a beacon of strength and integrity.  Whether through his service in the military, his commitment to public service, his role as an educator, or as a volunteer, he touched countless lives.

Thank you, Richard A. Franconeri, Sr., for everything… You have left an indelible mark on this world, and we are all better for having known you.  We will carry forward your lessons of kindness and courage, and your words will resonate in our hearts forever.  Until we meet again, your memory will remain a guiding light in our lives, forever cherished and celebrated.

A Memorial Gathering is scheduled at 4:00pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025 with the Memorial Service starting at 5:00pm at Loyless Funeral Homes, 5310 Land O’ Lakes Blvd., Land O’ Lakes, Florida 34639.  Interment is scheduled on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1:30pm with Army Honors as Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida  33513.
