Leonard Robert “Bob” Fryer Jr., 65, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away on May 20, 2025. He was born on July 27, 1959, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Leonard Robert Fryer Sr. and Ruth Evelyn Walker Fryer. He graduated from Glouster Catholic High School in 1977 with a perfect SAT score. After moving to Florida, Bob worked in the liability insurance industry and later with Richard Mulholland Law Firm. For the past 15 years, he had a successful career in Personal Injury Law, working at Fran Haasch Law Group.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Leesa; his three children, DeLaney, RJ, Jamie Hall (Gordon); his siblings, Angel Galloway (John), Mary Brewer (Jon), Margaret Fryer, David Fryer (Sue), and Dorothy Fryer; his father-in-law, James “Jimmy” Williams, his mother-in-law, Sandra Creel Williams, his brother-in-Law, James “Zandy” Williams (Tracy); his nieces and nephews, Abby Fryer, Anne Brewer, Bobby Brewer, Emily Brewer, Kelley Galloway, Mackenzie Williams, and Zachary Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Robert Fryer Sr. and Ruth Evelyn Walker Fryer, and his older sister, Susan Elizabeth Carney.

Bob was an avid sports fan, loved to camp and fish, play cribbage and poker, was a great cook and Grill master, made the best spaghetti, and was John Wayne’s biggest fan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 6th, from 5 to 8 pm at The Lake Padgette Estates East Clubhouse, 4533 Savanah Way, Land O’ Lakes, FL 34639. To honor Bob, the family has requested guests wear something of one of Bob’s favorite teams – Tampa Bay Lightning, Alabama Crimson Tide, Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Eagles, or Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The celebration will be a time for family and friends to share their stories and memories of Bob and his wonderful life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sunrise of Pasco County in Bob’s memory.

Bob will be deeply missed, his joy, laughter, and fullness of life will live on in the many people whose lives he has touched.
