Robert Duke Hutson

Robert (“Bob”) Hutson died unexpectedly on his family farm on November 18, 2017 in Lutz, FL at the age of 76. Robert is survived by his wife, Rita Hutson; daughters, Robbi Freeman, Heather Hutson and Rebecca Slade; and granddaughters Bailey and Isabella Freeman. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and his father, Duke, of Lutz, FL. Bob graduated from the University of Florida in 1964 with a degree in industrial engineering. On January 20, 1967 he married Rita, his college sweetheart. Bob loved his family. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching Gator games, and working on the family farm in Lutz. Given his engineering background, he enjoyed making calculations and solving problems, but probably not as much as spending time in nature. The family held a private ceremony on the family farm.
