Daphne Cooper 65, of Santa Barbara. Passed away peacefully at her home on November 23rd, 2011. Daphne was born on January 24th, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After attending Kimberton Farms School and the Baldwin School, she lived in the western Philadelphia suburbs until 1980, when she moved to Santa Barbara. Daphne worked as a legal administrative assistant. She practiced yoga and meditated daily. She enjoyed travel, especially to Bali and India. She is predeceased by her mother, Cornelia Sibley Tilden, her father, Leslie Trumbull Cooper, and her brother Daes Sinkler. She is survived by her daughter, Gina Vance, of Orlando, FL, her brother Leslie Trumbull Cooper, Jr. , of Rochester, MN, and her step mother, Struthers Joyce Cooper, of Haverford Pennsylvania. A Celebration of Daphne's life will be held on January 3, 2012 at 11:00AM at The Santa Barbara Sailing Center and a reception will follow at the Waterfront Grill, 113 Harbor Way, Santa Barbara, CA. Information regarding the memorial services will be available through McDermott-Crockett Mortuary (www.mcdermottcrockett.com, 1-800-842-5241.)
