Phyllis Foster, age 83, passed away in Ojai, CA on Thursday, April 15, 2021 after a brief illness with cancer.
Phyllis lived most of her life in Ojai, CA; graduating from Nordhoff High School.
She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Friend and Animal Lover.
Phyllis enjoyed donating her time to help others, hosting Bunko in her home and socializing with friends and family. For many years, she decorated her home extensively at Christmas time, receiving many compliments from her neighbors and anyone passing by.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Cook and May Cook, husband Glenn Foster and Step-Daughter, Debbie Dupuis.
She is survived by her daughters and their spouses; Patricia (Ronald) Franey, Cindy Fiedler, Tamara (Thad) Perkins, Step-Children; Lynn (Darald) Wilfer and Tony (Christine) Foster, Eleven Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Sister, Margaret Arundell and many close friends.
She will be forever missed by all of her family and friends. In the words of an unknown author: “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.”
