Geraldine A. Foster

Geraldine "Gerri" Ann Foster, a resident of Woodbury, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was 90 years old.

Legacy

Gerri was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 29, 1934, to the late Francis Sr. and Esther Beatty. Gerri continued to live in Pennsylvania for many years until she married and became the blessed mother of her 5 children. Throughout her life, Gerri loved baseball and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed watching the Mummers Parade. Gerri loved to play the guitar and dance to the great music of the oldies. She had a unique style of pure love towards all mankind and was known to be one "tough cookie". Geraldine was devout to her religion and displayed kindness to whomever she met in her lifetime. Gerri was a waitress for many years until she retired and continued to reside in Colonial Park Manor in Woodbury, New Jersey. Gerri had many friends within the manor and was known to light up the room with her very presence and enjoyed the company of her best friends; Jane Helmes and Vivian Foster, who were known to be very special to her. Tending Gerri's needs until passing were her devoted family; Quay, Brian, Patti and Larry.

Family

Gerri was the devoted mother to Quay Foster of Clayton, NJ, Tim of Pennsylvania, Patricia Vowles of Florida. Beloved mother to the late Frank Foster, James Foster of Florida and late Kathleen Korbel. Cherished grandmother to Frank's children; April, Frankie and Brian Foster; James's children; Susan, Josh and Christopher; Kathleen's children; Bernie and Kristen; Patricia's children; Jerrianne, Stacey and Stephanie; Quay's children; Nicky, Michael, Kimberly and Brian. She will continue to be missed by her many great-grandchildren and friends.

Gerri will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. May she now rest in peace with God in heaven as we grieve her loss. We will love you forever, Mommy, and you will always be in our hearts. We thank you for being a wonderful mother to us all. We love you. May you rest in peace.

Farewell Tribute

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, July 12th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home - Washington Township, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, New Jersey.  Funeral Service at 11:00AM.  Interment Eglington Cemetery Clarksboro, New Jersey.
