Mary A. Weltzin

Feb 19, 1933 — Jun 19, 2026

Mary A. Weltzin (née Undercoffler), 93, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Mary was born on February 19, 1933, on the Eckhart family farm in Limerick Township, Pennsylvania, to Harvey Undercoffler and Estelle “Pete” E. Eckhart Undercoffler. Mary was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and dear friend. She cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved more than life itself. They were her greatest joy and the center of her world.

Christmas was Mary’s favorite time of year, and gathering together for Christmas Eve dinner was a treasured family tradition that everyone was expected to attend. She was also happiest with a fishing pole in her hand, whether the fish were biting or not. Her love of fishing and the outdoors was a gift inherited from her father, who took his family fishing and hunting every chance he had, creating memories that lasted a lifetime.

Mary was an active and devoted member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Williamstown, New Jersey, where she formed many cherished friendships and leaves behind a church family who will miss her dearly until they are reunited again.

She was the beloved wife of the late Fredrick P. Weltzin, Sr, Francesville Indiana.

Mary is survived by her children: Fredrick P. Weltzin, Jr. (Gina), Scott L. Weltzin (the late Becky), and Robert V. Weltzin (Bonnie). She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Carol A. Mauger, and son-in-law, John Mauger.

She was the proud and loving grandmother of ten grandchildren: Alicia, Johnny, Jeffery, Mary, Luis “Skeeter,” Kathryn “Katie,” Robert Jr., Ranae, Shanna, and Jason.

She was also blessed with thirteen great-grandchildren: Kendall, Quinn, Everett, Cullen, Silas, Aurora, Lorelai, Wyatt, Christina, Russell Jr. (“RJ”), Reece, Braedyn, and Kalyn. Mary’s kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered always. Her legacy lives on through the generations she cherished and the many lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In our hearts forever, until we meet again.
