Patricia "Patty" Gallagher

Patricia Ann Gallagher (nee Ferry) of Sicklerville, NJ, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on July 31, 2025.

Born on October 6, 1974, in Abington, PA and raised in Warminster, PA, Patty was a graduate of William Tennent High School and later became the first member of her family to earn a college degree when she graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor’s in Elementary Education.

The daughter of Sherry Walton (George) and John Leibig (Donna), Patty married Patrick Joseph Gallagher on October 22, 1999. Together, they built an amazing life and had two beautiful children, Joseph William in 2002 and Elisabeth “Libby” Rose in 2005. There was nothing more important to her than being a mom. Patty loved going to the beach, listening to music, especially New Kids on the Block and Bon Jovi, family game night and she had a passion for game shows and photography. She also loved being Aunt Patty to Nevin, Carolyn, Lily, Holden, Madsen, Hadley, Clara, Declan, Stephen and Sophia. After spending many years as a stay-at-home mom, volunteering tirelessly in her spare time, Patty worked as an administrative assistant in the dental industry, lighting up every office with her warm smile.

She joins her loving mother-in-law Carol, her grandfather William and her grandmother Carol in heaven. Patty is survived by her father-in-law Joseph, sister-in-law Maureen Otis (Steven), brother-in-law Michael (Katherine), sister Jennifer DeGatis (Eric) and brother Christopher (Alicia). She will be missed dearly by all, especially by her cousin and best friend Melissa Leonard (Ryan).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Patty's viewing, Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the McGuinness Funeral Home 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell (Washington Twp.), NJ 08080.  Visitation will also be on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am in the St. Charles Borromeo R.C. Church 176 Stagecoach Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08080. Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
