Christopher L. Budden

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a man who truly lived life at full throttle, Christopher, who left us on April 13, 2026 at the age of 49.

Chris was the kind of person you couldn’t ignore—in the best way possible. Loud in laughter, fearless in spirit, and always chasing the next rush, he was an adrenaline junkie through and through. Whether he was tearing through trails on his dirtbike, building bonfires that could light up the night sky, or just kicking back with a cold Coors Light in hand, he made every moment count.

Outgoing and unapologetically himself, he had a personality as bold as the music he loved. A fan of Eminem, he connected with that same raw energy—honest, intense, and unforgettable. He spoke his mind, stood his ground, and lived life on his own terms.

He is survived by his parents, Alice and Joe; his wife, Michelle Budden, his children, Breanna, Christopher Jr., Destiny, Joshua and Seth; his siblings, Joe, Jennifer and Heather; 7 grandchildren, Arianna, Chris III, Oaklyn, Layla, Nathan, Hunter and Hayden.  Chris is also survived by his countless friends who became family over the years.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026 where stories will be shared, laughter will echo, and his spirit will be honored the way he would’ve wanted—together.  Friends and Family may gather at 10:00am at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ 08096.  Words of Remembrance will begin at 11:00am.  Final services will be held privately.
