Nancy R. Miller

Nancy Ross Miller, a lifelong resident of Westville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the home that she designed and was built by her husband and son, on Thursday, June 4, 2020. She was 68. Legacy Family was everything to Nancy. She met her husband, Robert, while attending Gateway Regional High School. They became high school sweethearts and were married in Westville, NJ on October 23, 1971. Nancy and Robert began their new life together, remaining in Westville, where they grew their family and together owned and operated Miller and Sons Builders, Inc. Nancy was very well known and liked among the community. And she was sure to be dressed to perfection every time she left the house. She and Robert spent countless hours tending to their business where she ran the office and he worked in the field. Together, Robert and Nancy and their son Robert Jr., designed and built their family home. The family home was one of her pride and joys. She was an excellent and very meticulous interior designer. Away from the family business, Nancy enjoyed taking weekend getaways to Millsboro, DE and Wildwood, NJ. She was the proudest Gran to her 3 grandchildren and never missed one of their sporting events. She also enjoyed taking trips to Tennessee to attend family reunions and gatherings with her husband and family. Family She is the beloved Wife of 48 years to Robert W. Miller, Sr.; devoted mother of Robert W. Miller, Jr. and Becky Scambia (Marc); dear sister to Pat Lesniowski (Steve), Susan Draus (John), Laura Ross, the late Gail Ross; cherished grandmother to Marc, Michael and Madison; loving sister-in-law to Jackie Gomeringer (Bill), Joanna Murtaugh (Chuck) and the late Richard J. Miller. Nancy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Nancy is predeceased by her parents, Herbert C. and Virginia C. Ross. Farewell Tribute Due to the National Health Crisis; Funeral Services for Nancy will be held privately for her immediate family. Nancy will be laid to rest at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
