Richard L. Troyan

Richard L. Troyan, age 83, passed away on February 10, 2025. 

Rich was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rich graduated from Lincoln H.S. (‘58) and Temple University. He served in the U.S. Army. After retiring from his career at SBA, he went on to volunteer for the Red Cross and the Phillies. Rich loved music, especially 50’s, Doo Wop, Jazz, and Bluegrass, ‘57 Chevys, reading the newspaper, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, mysteries, Ch.12, hotdogs, crabs, and a spicy Bloody Mary! 

He loved spending time at the shore in Wildwood Crest with his family. Rich made a friend everywhere he went! 

Rich is survived by his loving wife of 60 yrs., Barbara, his children Scott (Debbie) Troyan, Lynn (John) Schmied, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held in his honor on February 19, 2025 at McGuinness Funeral Home 34 Hunter St., Woodbury, NJ. 

Visitation will held from11:30 am to 12:30 pm with funeral services immediately following. 

Interment to take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery located on 300 Swedesboro-Paulsboro Rd., Swedesboro, NJ 08085.
