Gregory Donald Lee

Gregory Donald Lee Sr. was born in East Los Angeles California on March 6, 1953 and died in Pebble Beach, California on January 24, 2025. He was 71 years old. He was a devoted husband, a loving Father and a proud Grandfather. 

Gregory dedicated his life to public service and excellence. He enlisted into the Army in 1972 as a Military Policeman. He later worked as a Military Police Investigator and then commissioned as a Warrant Officer. He was called to active service during times of war during Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserve as Chief Warrant Officer 5 in the CID (Criminal Investigation Division) after an impressive 39 years of commitment to his country. 

In addition, he served with distinction for 20 years as an agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). A significant highlight of his career is his arrest of the first World Trade Center bomber while working in Islamabad Pakistan. His career contributed significantly to public safety and justice 

Beyond his professional achievements, Gregory was a talented author. He penned several textbooks and recently ventured into fiction writing with the publication of his novel, *Stinger*. His passion for storytelling and knowledge-sharing left a lasting impact on readers and colleagues alike.

Above all, Gregory will be remembered as a great husband and father who brought love and strength to his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Gregory is survived by his wife Virginia, his two sons and their spouses Gregory and Hope Lee, Christopher and Katie Lee, and his three Grandchildren Avery, Owen, and Nora
