Mark Eugene Anderson

Mark Eugene Anderson (Papa A), age 71, passed away on December 9th, 2024, at Riverbend Hospital in Eugene, Oregon.

Mark was born on May 4th, 1953, in Eugene, Oregon to Robert and Clara Fay Anderson. He was preceded in death by His father Robert Anderson.

Mark is survived by his wife Jo Lynne Anderson, mother Clara Fay Anderson, son Jim Anderson, daughter Crystal Fanning, Grandchildren Travis Fanning, Jax Fanning, Jay Fanning, Stella Anderson, Porter Anderson, Siblings Russell Anderson, Linda Lilly, and many other loving family members and friends.

Mark graduated from Junction City High School, spent 8 years working as a dump truck owner operator followed by 44 years as an owner of Anderson’s Erosion Control inc. in Junction City Oregon. Mark was passionate about boating, off-roading, and traveling/sightseeing with family and friends. Throughout his life, he was known for his generosity, and ability to turn any occasion into a fun and memorable experience.

A memorial service will be held on December 20th, 2024, 3 p.m. at Paradise Springs 25674 Cherry Creek Rd, Monroe, OR 97456.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Education Together Foundation P.O Box 523 Junction City, Or. 97448 in Mark Anderson’s memory.
