Shirley Jo Bush Shirley Jo Bush, 81, died on March 2, 2018 at her home in Eugene. She was born on September 2, 1936 to Kenneth and Katherine (Bowman) Calland in Greeley Colorado. She married Robert Bush on January 31, 1960 in Greeley Colorado. They lived in Greeley, Boulder and Cypress California before settling in Santa Ana California in 1970 to raise their Family. In July 1991 they retired to Grants Pass Oregon. Shirley was a hairdresser by trade, but spent most of her life as a homemaker. She and Robert were avid bowlers for many years. They were also involved in HAM radio. She enjoyed volunteering at her children’s and Grandson’s schools. She was also a Cub Scout leader and team mom. Her hobbies included reading, puzzles, crocheting, collecting, thrift store shopping, volunteering and playing bingo with all her friends at the Campbell Center. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Kenneth Jr. Shirley is survived by her children, Robert Jr. of Milwaukie, Oregon, Thomas Bush of Portland, Krista (Bill) Johnson of Eugene, two grandchildren, Ryan Johnson of Eugene and Levi Bush of Portland, one great-grandson, and extended family. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday April 22, 2018 from 1pm to 3pm at the Campbell Center in Eugene. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to OPB in her name.
