Vera LoftonA celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at Musgrove Family Center in Eugene for Vera Lofton of Eugene, who died Dec. 9 of cancer. She was 78.She was born March 12, 1932, in Brookville, Kan., to George and Helen Newbar Niemann. She married Bill Lofton on June 3, 1956, in Albany.She graduated from high school in Albany. She worked as a secretary for a number of different accounting firms in Eugene.Survivors include her husband.Inurnment will be in West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
