Donna Lee Lentz

Donna Lee Lentz (née Turner), 86, of Whitewater, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Donna was born on June 4, 1939, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, to the late Luther and Evelyn (née Schueneman) Turner. On June 6, 1959, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard Lentz. Together they built a loving home in Hebron, Wisconsin, where they raised their two children and shared 66 wonderful years of marriage.

Donna dedicated more than 20 years of service to Universal Electronics in Helenville before retiring. She and Richard enjoyed traveling and bowling together over the years. Donna also found joy in gardening, crocheting, and her beloved collection of more than 100 gnomes. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Donna is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Richard Lentz; her children, Bill (Sandy) Lentz and Laurie (Tim) Kerr; her grandchildren, Mark (Elizabeth) Lentz, Megan (Jim) Vergenz, and Bradley Kerr; and her eight great-grandchildren, Genesis, Mark Jr., Mathew, Gracelyn, Malachi, Jacob, Maxx, and Charlotte. She is further survived by her sisters, Diane (Barry) Pagel, and Doreen (Gordon) Marquart; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Turner.

VISITATION:

The family will greet relatives and friends at Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb St., Whitewater, on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.

SERVICE: A Memorial Service honoring Donna’s life will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 12:00 p.m.
