LaMont Charles Haskins

LaMont C. Haskins, age 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 9, 2026. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years Nancy; his children Cindy (Walt) Becker, Cheryl (the late Don) Broten, Michael (Penny) Haskins; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Roger (Marge) Haskins, brother in law Jim (Deb) Mould, and numerous nieces and nephews.

LaMont was employed by the city of Whitewater for 37 years as superintendent of public works.

LaMont was an avid reader of western books. He enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers and NASCAR.

Per LaMont’s wishes, private inurnment will take place at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park in La Crosse, WI.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
