Anita Warmbrod, age 85, of Greeley, CO was welcomed into heaven on Sunday, March 7, 2021 surrounded by her family at her home. Mrs. Warmbrod was born in Winchester, Tennessee on April 26, 1935 to Frank and Dorothy Tucker. She spent her childhood in Tullahoma, Tennessee and Decherd, Tennessee with her brothers, Charles and Bobby. She attended Franklin County High School. Anita married Joe Warmbrod on March 31, 1957 at the Winchester Methodist Church. She graduated from Jean Kirby Beauty College in Fort Smith, Arkansas in 1957. She worked as a cosmetologist in Fort Smith until she and Joe moved back to Winchester where she continued to work at Alice's Beauty Shop until 1970 when they moved to Greeley, CO. She then began her career as a travel agent at Adventures Awaiting Travel Agency from 1974 to 2018. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. She was involved in many activities at the First United Methodist Church of Greeley, Colorado. Over the years she enjoyed helping with church dinners, teaching Sunday School and being on the prayer chain. Anita and Joe served as greeters for more than 30 years at the church. One of the most important things in her life was the welfare of her family. She was always helping with school events and was involved in numerous activities for her sons. She loved to cook for everyone. She was known for her coconut cream pie and fried chicken. Anyone that came to her house was always offered something to eat and some sweet ice tea. She enjoyed baking pies and delivering them to people out of the goodness of her heart. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to their school and sporting events and loudly cheering them on. She always saw the best in people and never had anything negative to say about anyone. Anita was preceded in death by her son, Troy Lynn Warmbrod; her parents, Frank Tucker and Dorothy Noah and stepfather Carl Noah; brother, Charles Tucker; brother-in-law, John Warmbrod; sister-in-law, Bettye Warmbrod and nephew, John Tucker.
